A strategic marketing and development alliance was announced today (Thursday December 9 2004) by 13 online businesses that serve the needs of millions of media professionals every day around the world.
The alliance – United Global Media Brands (UGMB) – comprises a new generation of online ventures. With thousands of subscribers and high-volume traffic, they offer press and broadcast journalists, photographers, public relations, advertising and marketing executives the opportunity to job hunt, recruit new talent, improve their skills at major international training schools, trace old friends, network, plan campaigns and much more. The sites have been created and privately funded by two British journalists – David Davis and George Hopkin – who are now planning further expansion of United Global Media Brands in the UK and North America during 2005-06.
