London UK– 13th January 2005 – BorderWare Technologies, the benchmark provider of messaging security solutions, today announced that industry veteran Tim Leisman has joined BorderWare as President & CEO to drive the company's strategy and vision as the leader in messaging security. John Alsop, co-founder of BorderWare will remain in the position of Chairman.

Tim Leisman comes to BorderWare with more than 25 years experience in senior management and executive roles from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. Prior to joining BorderWare, Mr. Leisman was the President & CEO of Storability Software, a leading provider of enterprise storage resource management software, which was acquired by StorageTek in September 2004. Previously, Mr. Leisman was President & CEO at Infinite Content, an i2 business-to-business software company, where he grew the company to more than $100M in sales in two years. Prior to that, Mr. Leisman was with Compaq as Senior Vice-President and Division General Manager of the Outsourcing Division, which he founded and grew to $1.5B in revenues in 5 years. Before joining Compaq, Mr. Leisman spent 14 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he held several senior executive positions in software and services. Mr. Leisman holds a B.A. in economics and a master's degree in marketing from the University of Massachuset
ts, Amherst.
