the24 Announces Fully Audited Digital Delivery System for Original Music to 3G Mobile Devices
Flexible Interface Provides Cost Efficient Solution for Delivery of
Third Party Content

the24 has worked with music labels and publishers for over 3 years and the24 "Beatloader" system has been developed to handle all aspects of Digital Rights Management and Customer Relations Management. In addition to encoding to most digital streaming and downloading formats the24's system supports virtually every SDRM system of any significance.

The patented front-end of the secure system developed by Favourite Systems AS of Norway, combined with the24's back-end services provides the capability of digital rights management as well as reporting and licensing. Hence, the24 provides a unique solution for rapid delivery of original music and music-video downloading to 3G devices. Typically a single CD music track will download to a 3G device in about 20 seconds. Importantly, all reports necessary for 100% accounting and reporting to music publishers/collection societies as well as record companies are included in the24 system.

the24 is committed to giving 100% business clarity and quality of service in exchange for having the privilege of distributing the results of talented original artists' work. The company has worked closely with people with decades of first-hand experience in media businesses, particularly music. Hence, the24 fully understands and empathises with the need for artists and music publishers to protect their creative work and intellectual property. the24's "Beatloader" system provides a turnkey technology and accounting solution to new and even existing vendors using earlier download technologies to enable their users to legally download or stream their music, music-video and other multi-media content to their 3G mobile device of choice.

the24 Chairman & Founder Thor-Arne Pettersen commented: "Working in Partnership with Microsoft MSN in Norway, we have been successful with our initial technology roll-out to deliver next-generation ring-tones (MMS and True-Tones). However with the inevitable functionality convergence of current mobile devices such as i-Pods and MP3 players plus the availability of increasing bandwidth and device memory, we believe that the mobile phone will become the standard for mobile media downloads. Our new "Beatloader" technology enables consumers to legally acquire digital content and for the service provider to charge for, account for and manage the rights for digital content supplied to any 3G digital phone though its unique identification number. The global digital music market is expected to double this year to approximately £375 million and we believe that "Beatloader" will enable the music industry and third party providers to meet the increasing demand for legal access to dow
nload music and music-video content onto mobile devices."
