Reading, UK, 31 January 2005 - SurfKitchen, the leading provider of dynamic user experience (DUE) software which enables mobile operators to increase data services and content consumption, today announced the appointment of Michel Quazza as Chief Executive Officer.

Michel brings 15 years of experience in telecommunications and software, including executive positions at Openwave, Lucent and France Telecom. He explains: “The mobile industry is at a crossroads. Operators are recognizing the need for a new user experience model to make 2.5G and 3G mobile data services a natural part of each end user’s lifestyle. Prior to SurfKitchen, Michel held a number of executive positions with Phone.com and latterly Openwave, as Vice President of Product Management, General Manager of the mobile infrastructure business unit, and, most recently, Vice President of Business Development. He contributed to its growth from a startup to a 1300 people global company with more than 70 mobile operator customers. Michel previously held senior positions with Lucent Technologies, Octel Communications, France Telecom and Global One, and was on the board of CTIA Wireless Internet Caucus and the Wireless Advertising Association.
