LONDON, Jan. 31, 2005 -- Interactive Intelligence Inc. (Nasdaq: ININ), a global developer of business communications software, has appointed Karen Worrall as its new marketing manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Worrall, who joined Interactive Intelligence in November, brings 20 years of experience in marketing communications, 12 of which have been in the business telecommunications sector.
Prior to joining Interactive Intelligence, Worrall was the global marketing communications manager for Norwood Systems, a start-up offering Bluetooth in-building mobile solutions. Prior to this, she spent seven years with contact center solutions provider, Aspect Communications. Worrall has a bachelor's degree from the University of Western Australia.
In her new role with Interactive Intelligence, Worrall is responsible for daily operations of the EMEA marketing communications department, including channel marketing, event management, public relations, brand management, and sales collateral development. She reports to Tony Martin, the company's director of marketing for EMEA.
