Telcordia to utilise Apertio's suite of open mobility applications
Bristol, UK, February 09, 2005: Apertio, the industry's first open mobility infrastructure company, today announces an OEM agreement with Telcordia, a leading global provider of telecommunications software and services.
This relationship supports the wireless industry's move to open, standards-based IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) networks, enabling operators to roll out new service offerings without overhauling existing network infrastructure and to efficiently and effectively scale to support significantly more subscribers.
Telcordia will brand and offer Apertio's suite of open mobility applications, including the Home Location Server (HLR), Home Subscriber Server (HSS), Portability Server (MNP), Equipment Identification Server (EIR) and other Intelligent Network products, to mobile operators. Telcordia will deploy and support the applications, with 24x7 support from Apertio.
