…Wily Technology announces threefold expansion in UK business
which helps to drive global expansion of its entire operations…

London — February 10, 2005 — Marking its fifth consecutive year of record-breaking growth, Wily Technology, the leader in enterprise application management, today announced that the company ended fiscal year 2004 with its best quarter ever and that it is now profitable. In addition, its UK operations ended 2004 with a growth rate of 335% from 2003 to 2004. This follows the addition of leading UK companies such as Orange, the John Lewis Partnership and Royal Mail as Wily customers in 2004. On a global basis, Wily Technology grew 69 percent year-over-year; on a quarterly basis, Wily grew 130 percent sequentially from Q3 to Q4 2004, and 91 percent over Q4 2003.

Mike Fisher, UK Sales Director at Wily Technology, said: “Wily Technology has achieved massive growth in the UK because our Management 360 solution and Introscope technology enables organisations using J2EE-based business applications to have proper management and control of their business processes. This is done by ensuring that the applications which support these processes, and the relevant back end systems, function in the most efficient and reliable manner possible. Having proper application management is something that many enterprises now understand is key to seamless business process performance, ensuring that customers, suppliers, employees and partners get the information and level of service they need when they need it.“

Commenting on the increasing global momentum of Wily Technology, the company’s President & CEO, Dick Williams, said: “In 2004, we focused on aggressive execution and realised tremendous customer success, product innovation and growth of our partner network. We see even more opportunity as an increasing number of enterprises trust their businesses to complex, composite Web applications that span multiple systems and stakeholders. In 2005, Wily Technology will continue to raise the bar in enterprise application management, providing customers greater insight into both their applications and business performance.”
