Kingston Communications’ Business Services has recently won a series of orders, including the following three with a total value in excess of £2.5 million.

Kingston secured a 12 month contract with Manheim Auctions, part of the world's largest vehicle auction group. Manheim offers over 500,000 cars and commercial vehicles in the UK every year on behalf of leading manufacturers, finance companies and fleet vendors. Kingston implemented an IN (intelligent network) solution that enables Manheim's customers to access up-to-date information on vehicles going to auction, at any one of their 17 car auction or seven commercial auction centres in the UK.

Northamptonshire County Council placed an order with Kingston worth £1m a year, halving its telecoms bill in the process. When the council analysed its telecoms it discovered it was using numerous different companies to supply the service and held an online auction (also known as a Reverse Auction) to rationalise. This groundbreaking online auction, under the Government Telecommunications Contract Framework Agreement was the first of its kind, and was held by Hedra, a management and technology consulting partner.

Meanwhile, Opal Property Group, one of the UK's leading providers of accommodation for the student and private residential markets, placed a five year contract with the company. Working closely with Universities, Opal recently secured three new accommodation sites in Bradford and Huddersfield for over 1200 students. Kingston’s track record in delivering student telephony services at Manchester University helped Kingston beat off stiff competition. Opal opted for a technology solution that includes Siemens ISDX, IN National Rate Services, Switch-Line and C3 Card Services.
