The latest announcement by the Association of Payment Clearing Services (APACS) is further proof that fraudsters will stop at nothing to ply their criminal trade. Although the Chip and Pin initiative is helping to prevent fraud in certain areas, criminals have switched their attention elsewhere, particularly to Cardholder Not Present fraud.

Not only are thieves targeting unprotected Cardholder Not Present merchants and getting away with it, they are stifling the opportunity for merchants to open up new, multi-channel, revenue-generating opportunities.

If you are in danger of falling victim to fraudsters and would like to know how to prevent fraud, a forum on the 21st of April, hosted by DataCash, will help.

Fraud is a never-ending reality, but it needn't affect your business.

Partners in Crime has a panel of experts who will outline the threats from fraudsters, explain what measures can be taken against them, and offer advice as to how businesses can trade freely and without significant danger. A major high street retailer will also explain how they have successfully implemented 3D Secure in the fight against fraud.

The forum will take place at the De Vere Cavendish Hotel in St James's, London and will start at 9.30am, followed by lunch.

The agenda includes:

A case study of 3D Secure implementation
Launch of Smart Voucher - prepay Solution
Launch of TriRidium – a Chargeback Management Solution
Details of the new DataCash dual site architecture
