March 14, 2005--Comverse, a unit of Comverse Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMVT), and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication services, today announced that its wireless Push-to-Show(TM) solution will be available on Windows Mobile devices, including handsets and PDAs. Comverse Push-to-Show is a one-to-one or one-to-many video push service based on IMS and IP protocols. It is a multi-party, two-way interactive real-time video communication service that leverages live video transmission and walkie-talkie-style presence-based communication.

Comverse Push-to-Show over Microsoft Windows Mobile-based devices is one step further towards Total Communication(SM), sharing life experiences in the richest media possible, over any network with any device. The availability of Push-to-Show on mobile devices will enable users to create live video streams while enjoying immediate and easy-to-use interactive communications. The proliferation of Push-to-Show-ready devices will provide operators with a competitive and differentiating video service, encouraging the evolution of mobile services to full audio-visual communications that capitalize on such 2.75G and 3G mobile networks as UMTS, EDGE, CDMA, EV-DO, and on broadband and Wi-Fi.

"Microsoft is excited about the innovative Comverse applications being offered on the Windows Mobile platform," said Julie Wymetalek, manager of the Mobility Partner Advisory Council at Microsoft Corp. "As a result, businesses will have greater flexibility with their mobile solutions, mobile operators will have greater revenue opportunities through streaming media, and consumers will enjoy a richer digital entertainment experience on Windows Mobile devices."

"We are pleased to be augmenting our work with Microsoft through the availability of Push-to-Show on Windows Mobile devices," said Menashe Rothschild, Chief Technology Officer, Comverse. "Push-to-Show delivers value-added services that can interoperate with existing communities or video portals, making it a seamless solution for carriers to deploy. With the availability of Push-to-Show on Microsoft Windows Mobile devices, network operators can expect to see increased service penetration and return on investment."

Push-to-Show is part of Comverse's Total Communication environment, which creates a borderless world where people are free to communicate in the way that is most appropriate and convenient for them. The Total Communication experience envisioned by Comverse is brought to fruition in the InSight(TM) Open Services environment, which provides a single platform on which a wide array of next-generation, multimodal services can be hosted. Comverse is a member of Microsoft's prestigious Mobility Advisory Partner Council (MPAC) program and plans to offer clients other value added services on Microsoft mobile platforms.
