Evolved Networks (, the supplier of advanced software tools that enable telecoms operators to automate the management of access networks, today announced that Keith Willetts has joined its board as chairman.

Willetts is widely regarded as one of the world's most influential commentators in the telecom industry and his considerable experience and knowledge will enable Evolved Networks to strengthen further its strategic direction.

Willetts is founder and chairman of the TeleManagement Forum, an influential and successful worldwide telecoms management industry consortium comprising over 400 member companies across 60 countries. He is also managing partner at Mandarin Associates Ltd UK, a consulting practice that specialises in business strategy in the telecoms sector and has previously held executive positions at BT, TSCI Corporation and Irish mobile software company, Comnitel Technologies.

Keith's achievements have been internationally recognised; he has twice been honoured in the US Communications Week 'Top 25' awards for industry visionaries and has been awarded the British Computer Society's gold medal for innovation.
