Ex-Oracle Executive assumes responsibility for Northern Europe

LONDON – 23 March 2005 – BroadVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: BVSN), a global provider of self-service web applications, today announced that Ceri Hyett has joined the company as Vice President and General Manager of their Northern Europe operation. Hyett will spearhead UK and European sales and marketing, while managing BroadVision’s extensive European customer portfolio. He reports to Alex Kormushoff, Executive Vice President and GM Worldwide Field Operations.

Prior to joining BroadVision, Hyett served as the UK General Manager at StreamServe, a leading provider of business communication software. During his tenure with the company, license revenues grew by 56 per cent in the first full year, a significant pipeline was established to enable consistent corporate growth, and the company experienced strong profitability.

“We are pleased to have a seasoned professional like Ceri on our team,” stated Alex Kormushoff. “His track record over twenty years in sales and sales management, with both large and small organizations is exactly what we wanted.”

Commenting on his appointment, Hyett said, “BroadVision is a big name in the market and my appointment comes at an exciting time in the company’s history thanks to increased market demand and growth across Europe. There is no question that BroadVision is leading the charge once again in the e-business arena. Our newest generation of product features will far out-reach anything that others may have and will allow us the benefits of a truly open platform.”

Hyett has worked for several leading IT companies, including UK content management vendor, Mediasurface, where he joined as Vice-President of Sales Operations for EMEA, and soon was promoted to Vice-President of their Worldwide Sales organisation. He also spent several years at Oracle as Regional Director of the fastest growing region in the UK.
