Firstcourt, the professional services sector IT consultancy company founded by former IT head at law firm Taylor Wessing Adam Westbrooke has been selected for two new projects in the legal sector.

Reading solicitors Blandy & Blandy have asked Firstcourt to help them select a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, from defining the requirements to managing the tender process. The new system will integrate with the firm’s existing Axxia Practice Management System, and will allow the firm to tailor communications with clients and other organisations more effectively.

Head of Marketing at Blandy & Blandy Melissa Baxter said, “Whilst we know what we are trying to achieve with this project, Adam knows the questions to ask to make sure we get a system that can deliver these aims.”

Firstcourt have also been brought in to help the planning, property, public and administrative law set Landmark Chambers in a major project to design and set up a new IT infrastructure to go in new offices they are moving in to in the summer. Formed from the merger of 4 Breams Buildings and Eldon chambers two years ago, the set is still operating out of two locations. The office move is the final step in creating a fully merged Chambers that can adapt easily to the changing legal environment.

The project includes the design of a complete new infrastructure, and Adam Westbrooke will be managing tenders for new IP voice and data networks, telephony and internet services, and digital copiers, as well as infrastructure cabling and audio visual installations in the meeting room suite. In addition to this, Adam will oversee the final integration between the systems from each office.

Landmark Chief Executive Joel Hagan said “We are aiming to create a modern and professional office environment for our clients, barristers, and staff. We are delighted to have someone with Adam’s skills and experience to help us with this.”

Adam Westbrooke commented:
“Firstcourt are committed to working with all areas of the legal sector, and I am pleased that the skills we can offer have been recognised by both a regional law firm and a major Chambers.”
