NEW ORLEANS and SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 11, 2005 – More than 4,000 customers, partners and industry experts are expected to gather today at Solutions 2005, Hyperion’s (Nasdaq: HYSL) annual global conference. The April 10–13 conference, focused on helping companies achieve performance visibility and greater profitability, is the world’s premier event for Business Performance Management. This year’s event, taking place in New Orleans, will highlight the release of Hyperion Applications Suite 4, growing customer momentum around the Hyperion Business Intelligence Platform and exciting future innovations in Business Performance Management.

Customers attending Solutions 2005 will see a new approach to management reporting delivered through the easiest-to-use and implement dashboards. They will also see demonstrations of new products designed to help them streamline their businesses with dynamic planning, strategically forecast and model changes within their organizations, and achieve greater accountability in the face of stringent compliance regulations.

“Planning, forecasting, reporting and tracking performance extends beyond the CFO’s office,” said Rich Clayton, vice president of product marketing for Hyperion. “In fact, companies dealing with a myriad of challenges including regulatory requirements, fragmented systems, complex environments and limited budgets demand a single, enterprise-wide view of their organizations.

“Hyperion Business Performance Management software empowers our customers to overcome these hurdles. If they need dynamic planning, we can deliver it. If they need management reporting that can retrieve data from a relational or multidimensional data source, we can deliver it. If they need interactive dashboards that can be created by even novice non-IT users, we can deliver it. If our customers need to achieve performance visibility, we can deliver it.”

Hyperion Sets the Business Performance Management Bar

Hyperion is also highlighting the success of the Hyperion Business Intelligence Platform and is featuring a new innovation for master data management, which is “the secret sauce” for managing complex change in dynamic organizations.

Hyperion Applications Suite 4: Market-Leading Applications
