Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, singer Kylie Minogue and footballer Wayne Rooney are bidding to become Prime Minister in Britain's General Election, it was announced in London today (11 April). Voters can make their choice at

The three have their own election manifestos:

- Jamie will make Britain healthy

- Kylie will bring glamour back into politics

- Wayne will score goals against the opposition

A spokesman for the organisers, IncrediBull Ideas, said: "General elections are generally dull and boring and many people don't even bother to vote. We thought it was timely to make this election fun and interesting and hopefully by voting for one of our would-be Prime Ministers, people will be encouraged to cast a serious vote on Election Day".
