WildPackets Promotes Riaz Khan to Further Expand European Markets and Spearhead Channel Activity

Walnut Creek, California – 14 April, 2005 - WildPackets Inc., innovator in advanced network services fault analysis, today announced an expanded role for Riaz Khan, Director of European Sales. As part of his increased responsibilities, Khan will head up WildPackets’ overall European operations. Previously accountable for EU sales and business development, Khan will also take on the role of identifying new markets and building relationships with strategic partners to further enhance WildPackets’ channel strategy across the UK, Germany, Eastern Europe, and the Nordics.

Khan joined WildPackets in 2002 as a Business Development Manager for EMEA. European sales increased 100% since he joined the company, and he expects continued high percentage growth this year and beyond. With a proven track record of over 20 years of IT experience gained in mission-critical networking environments such as those of DEC, Compaq, and Cisco Systems, Khan is poised to build on the successes WildPackets has enjoyed within the government, health, education, banking and finance, and manufacturing markets.

“WildPackets is experiencing increased momentum and significant brand awareness which we intend to capitalise on by moving into additional territories across the north and south of Europe, Eastern Europe and Middle East. We are very focused in the EU, and developing key markets is a main priority, along with expanding our channel capabilities in line with customer demand,” commented Khan recently.
