LONDON, 25 April, 2005 - IntelligentApps, a Sage company and worldwide provider of industrial strength Business Performance Management (BPM) software, today announced a new global Business Partner model to drive worldwide sales of IntelligentApps products. Under the new model, all products and services will be sold exclusively by the channel and IntelligentApps will assist partners in all new major deals and existing customer implementations.
The company has already formally appointed four Business Partners - Moore Stephens, Edenbrook, Thorogood and ODESIA Solutions (for the US Market) - to launch this new model and most other partners will transition to it.
IntelligentApps is the first Business Performance Management (BPM) vendor to move exclusively to a partner-centric business model, both in the UK and worldwide.
Paul Martin, Managing Director of IntelligentApps and SageBI Division commented, “We are moving aggressively to build mass market adoption of our technology via a partner channel, providing major opportunities to deliver stronger solutions by combining packaged software, services and industry domain knowledge via our partners. Our chosen partners will provide customers with the product solutions that are right for them and carefully tailored for the differing needs of large corporate businesses.”
“Sage has consistently demonstrated how successful partnerships can drive better customer solutions, higher ROI and a greater collective skills base and the move by IntelligentApps is consistent with Sage’s core business strategy,” continued Martin. “We believe this in turn will result in many of the larger Sage partners embracing the IntelligentApps technology as well as Sage BI (an OEM branded version of IntelligentApps), to further drive demand, revenues and vertical solutions.”
Moore Stephens (announced last month) will provide wider services to both the IntelligentApps and Sage communities, working with the IntelligentApps & Sage Business Intelligence (SageBI) product sets. John Harbor, a senior partner of Moore Stephens in London, said, "We are delighted at the prospect of developing our relationship with IntelligentApps and working with Sage represents a great opportunity going forward. We are committed to helping organisations - large and small – to make better decisions faster. Having global support from Sage / IntelligentApps will enable us to deliver even better solutions to our clients."
Edenbrook’s proven Business Intelligence approach highlights that BI is more than just technology, “We have the understanding and know how to best leverage the right people and processes in a wide range of organisational settings and look forward of working more closely with IntelligentApps,” said David Kilpatrick, Director, Edenbrook.
Thorogood, a BI consultancy with practices in London, Princeton and Bangalore, specialises in solutions across industries, including banking, financial services, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods and retail. “IntelligentApps has strong appeal for many of our customers, and we are already impressed with the new global business partner model,” explained Trevor Jones, Managing Director. He added, “We are excited to be able to team up with IntelligentApps and Sage to provide first class scalable business solutions to our customer base.”
ODESIA Solutions is a Business Intelligence Consulting company offering BI and Datawarehousing solutions to large and middle-sized companies. “Working in the Business Intelligence market for more than 15 years I know that key to the challenge of getting a successful implementation is to always get acceptance from the user base. IntelligentApps understood this clearly,” said Olivier van Branteghem, Directeur - Développement des affaires, Odesia Solutions. “This is the most useful solution I have ever seen. The IntelligentApps team is very pro active and work closely with their customers and partners to enlarge the scope of the solution provided. As a partner, this is a successful association providing customers with better access to their corporate data.”
Paul Martin concluded, “We are delighted to have completed a strategic business relationship with ODESIA Solutions, making them our first business partner in Canada and North East USA. With the addition of Moore Stephens, Edenbrook and Thorogood in the UK, selected for their notable experience of implementing and supporting complex BI solutions across all industry types, we are confident in our goal of building mass-market adoption of the IntelligenApps technology.
