Azure Solutions, the revenue-assurance company, today announced it has appointed Pete Watts as head of fraud operations, as Azure further consolidates its position as a leading provider of telecoms fraud-management solutions.

Pete has over 30 years’ telecoms experience and joins Azure from BT Wholesale, where he was head of fraud operations and services. In that role, Pete managed BT’s fraud bureau service operations in Milton Keynes, Gatwick and Cardiff, and helped to build the BT Fraud Management Centre of Excellence.

Prior to that Pete was fraud risk manager at BT, where he was responsible for identifying, managing and reducing current and potential fraud loss within BT Group and its joint ventures. This involved delivering fraud-management technical solutions and training to the specifications of BT and its customers, enabling BT to reduce fraud to world-leading levels.
