FeaturesExec, the online media relations tool for PR professionals from Daryl Willcox Publishing, will boost the number of publications it covers to include all B2B and professional trade press plus all national and major regional newspapers.

From June 6th, subscribed PR teams will have rapid access to an unprecedented number of editorial contacts, forward features lists and detailed background information on up to 5,000 publications in the UK.

The new service comprehensively covers all trade and professional titles to enable agency and in-house PR teams to accurately target publications in regional, national and vertical press campaigns. This breadth of service is a significant increase from the previous 1,200 largely technology and finance sector titles that FeaturesExec has provided information on since 1997.

The expanded part of the service is free to all current customers until their current subscription is due to be renewed. FeaturesExec is available on a per-office basis rather than per-user, making it more flexible for PR teams. Prices will range from around £3,000 per year. A dedicated team of researchers has been compiling information since January 2005 to ensure up-to-date editorial details on all publications are available immediately.

“Being a former journalist myself, I know it’s vitally important for PRs to call the right journalists at the right time about the right feature,” said Daryl Willcox, founder of Daryl Willcox Publishing. “Our FeaturesExec service gives PR teams the relevant information to make for such highly targeted campaigns. By vastly increasing the number of publications we report on, PR agencies and in-house teams have the information to cover an unprecedented number of national, regional, B2B and professional titles.”

“Our teams have used the FeaturesExec service for a number of years to have the latest information for technology-focused PR campaigns,” said David Cunningham, Marketing Manager at LEWIS Communications. “The news that the number of publications covered is increasing three-fold is an interesting proposition as it can help for the targeted and successful sell-ins that make our campaigns a real hit with clients.”

Daryl Willcox Publishing expects this new service to double subscriber levels within two years. The FeaturesExec service is available in tandem with other tools available from Daryl Willcox Publishing - the Response Source Journalist Enquiries System and Response Source/SourceWire Press Release Wire.
