Avanquest administers the cure for payroll pain at Options Employment

It is always worth considering the Options when looking for a business solution. Options employment group needed to find a solution to solve the ever growing problem of processing the weekly time sheets from the 1000’s received every week from temporary staff employed. The manual system was becoming a pain. Every Options branch was faced with the weekly problem of processing often illegible, folded, tea stained or ripped time sheets ready for the payroll, in a very tight time frame of just two days from receipt to payment.

Information is now captured online from any source – electronic form, fax, email, spread sheets etc. a system which is referred to in the company as Infonet.

Following the installation of OnBase, Options set up an in-house support hot line, the Infonet Helpline and on line support for users, which is managed from the Company’s head office in Hounslow. Users are able to ask for advice and help anonymously and know that technical support is always available. This has helped effect the change smoothly and minimised the resistance to new methods that can so often result in slow acceptance of a new system.

Options has been able to cut payroll costs substantially by reducing the staffing levels at branch level. A saving in people hours of up to 4 working days in each branch is realistic.
