LONDON, 22 August, 2005 - IntelligentApps, a Sage company and worldwide provider of industrial strength Business Performance Management (BPM) software, announced that it’s partner-focused business model is going from strength to strength as it introduced its latest partner in a new vertical market. Solicitors Own Software (SOS), a leader in the specialist field of legal practice management software, is the most recent partner to recognise the benefits of combining packaged software, services and industry domain knowledge. SOS will harness these strengths as it resells IntelligentApps alongside its own Practice Management software.
Commenting on the announcement Paul Martin, Managing Director of IntelligentApps and SageBI Division said: “We identified SOS’s strong partner potential because of its prominence within the legal IT sector and for the many rich features demonstrated by its highly flexible and easy to use practice management software. We are very excited to announce this partnership, SOS brings invaluable business knowledge to this key market as they resell IntelligentApps to their existing customer base.”
SOS Practice Management software is designed to support the entire legal practice, so that lawyers can spend time doing what they do best instead of getting bogged down with tedious and repetitive administration.
Combining its case and practice management software with IntelligentApps will enable SOS to provide Financial Controllers, Partners, Department Heads and Fee Earners with performance data that is timely, relevant, reliable, consistent, understandable, and easily drilled into using either a familiar Excel or Web Browser interface to OLAP data cubes.
Michael Platt, MD, SOS welcomed the announcement, saying: “Our partner strategy is based on providing our clients with a total solution, with technology that is best in its field. We have worked exclusively with solicitors for 17 years to create the right tools to help lawyers manage their business efficiently and we are very excited about the additional performance dashboards and analytic features that the IntelligentApps solution will provide for our clients.”
The partnership is already reaping rewards, with the first contract already completed with Hugh James Solicitors, and new the business intelligence and reporting functionality receiving very positive client feedback at the recent SOS User Group.
