Bespoke OpenView training available from the channel for first time in Chessington, January 10 2006: OpenPSL, a division of Bell Microproducts and sister company of Ideal Hardware, has become the first UK channel partner accredited to deliver HP OpenView training to resellers and their end user customers.

In a channel first, HP Education is licensing its training material to OpenPSL, making it the UK’s only channel company delivering bespoke HP OpenView training courses.

HP OpenView training can be customised by OpenPSL to directly reflect the user environment, accelerating project roll-outs and software use and increasing the value of implementations.

Existing HP Education training courses are among the most comprehensive and successful in the industry and have trained thousands of users in HP OpenView. To broaden this success, OpenPSL and HP Education identified a channel solution to support HP OpenView sales with tailored training which reflects real world implementations.

By modeling coursework to reflect customer implementations, in effect making the training part of the implementation, resellers’ end user customers benefit by being able to apply knowledge of different HP OpenView modules as they are deployed.

“We can now raise the value of our HP OpenView training by targeting the courses to the exact need of the customer environment. By taking the elements that are relevant to a particular customer and tailoring the course accordingly, we can reduce the number of days required and train more people within that time. We can offer training at customer sites for as few as three people. Resellers can now use OpenPSL’s Partner Services Division to deliver bespoke, on-site training, based on HP course work and fully approved and accredited by HP.

For the first time the option exists for resellers to offer training through modularized courses to run concurrently with OpenView implementations thus ensuring there is no time lag between project roll-outs and end users taking advantage of the benefits of HP OpenView.

Fully accredited and qualified OpenPSL Partner Services Division personnel will train resellers and their customers. The availability of this training will help shorten sales cycles, grow reseller margins, speed implementations and accelerate end users’ return on investment.
OpenPSL Partner Services Division is the first UK partner to be given total access to HP Education’s OpenView training courses.
