AlanDick, the global cellular and broadcast infrastructure provider, has appointed Duncan Lewis as executive chairman.

Lewis, who has held a range of senior positions in the telcoms and media industries, succeeds Andrew Gay who has stepped down as non-executive chairman.

Lewis joins AlanDick from the Carlyle Group where he is a senior policy advisor (global telecoms and media). He was previously chief executive and president of GTS/Ebone. His career has included senior management roles in Equant, Granada Media Group, Cable and Wireless, Mercury Communications and British Telecom. Lewis is also a director of the British Library and of French telecoms firm CompleTel.
