Axial Systems becomes first support level partner as part of £250 000 investment

LONDON, ENGLAND, June 30, 2006 – Network General ™ has announced the introduction of a new reseller partner programme which will provide greater revenue and margin opportunities for resellers of products, support and services. In addition, it promises to boost market penetration for Network General’s product portfolio.

The Reseller Partner Program will offer two different types of membership for partners who just wish to sell product and those who also wish to deliver technical support respectively. A Network General “Gold Partner” is given opportunities to achieve a high retained margin on all Network General products in return for generating sales opportunities and registering them. To help support them in this, they also receive discounted technical training and access to a dedicated hardware demonstration pool, in return for providing an annual business plan and monthly sales forecasts.

Gold Partners may also apply to be Enabled Support Partners, who are certified in the resolution of technical issues and have their own lab with which recreate problems. This enables them to deliver effective support of Sniffer® solutions, while Network General provides third level support and new versions of product. Enabled Support Partners make substantially more margin and add greater value to their customers than resellers who simply sell the Network General provided support contracts.

Seasoned Network General reseller, Axial Systems became its first Enabled Support partner, of which there are now four in Europe, and under the terms of the partnership will now offer first and second line support on all Network General products.
