Robert Wolthuis appointed general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa to support continued business expansion
Amsterdam, Netherlands – 5 March 2007, Network Hardware Resale (NHR), a world leader in pre-owned and new networking equipment, today announced that business from the major European telcos contributed to its strong worldwide sales growth in 2006. In support of this growth, the company has appointed Robert Wolthuis as the company’s new general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
NHR’s worldwide revenues in 2006 were $138.2 million, representing a 31 percent year-over-year growth rate. Deals with the leading European telecommunications companies played a major part. NHR now supplies all of the large telcos in Europe, providing a solid platform for future growth.
Robert Wolthuis succeeds Glenn Fassett, who recently transitioned from the company’s European HQ in Amsterdam to NHR’s growing Asia Pacific headquarters.
Wolthuis joins Network Hardware Resale from “Real Medical Technologies” in the Netherlands, where he was founder and CFO. Wolthuis will apply his experience as a business entrepreneur, venture capitalist and investment banker, in order to sustain market momentum in the region
