Solution Maps Individual Competencies To Corporate Strategy For Highly Skilled Knowledge Workers Across Multiple European Countries

We employ highly skilled engineers, and it was critically important that we’re able to map specific competencies to individual employees.”
Tripkewitz and his team undertook a market evaluation of Performance and Talent Management solutions, including its incumbent ERP supplier, SAP. After speaking with SuccessFactors and seeing a presentation and some test cases with its own data, FME adopted the SuccessFactors platform and went straight into a live session without the need for a pilot.
“We were able to interactively modify processes in line with our specific requirements,” added Tripkewitz. “Our review system is tied into our financial year. Our new fiscal year began on 1 April 2006 and it was extremely important that our implementation moved ahead quickly. If it had been delayed we would have missed the window to coordinate with the financial year, and we would have lost an entire 12 month period. SuccessFactors ensured we got up and running quickly to meet our deadline. We were easily able to link SuccessFactors to our SAP systems and our HR data.”
FME deployed SuccessFactors’ Performance Management, Goal Review, 360 Degree Review and Succession Management. The applications are now being used by everyone in the company across the UK, Germany, Italy and France.
