Leading open source ERP provider opens Barcelona office to support unprecedented international growth, develop key partnerships and drive further technology adoption

Pamplona, Spain – October 9th , 2007 – Openbravo (, the leading developer of web-based open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for small and medium businesses, has opened prestigious new European office in Barcelona, Spain, underlining its ambitious growth plans.

Openbravo will drive rapid international expansion by creating a solid base in this world-class European city, ideally located for supporting and training its broad community of partners and customers. The company is confident of tapping a pool of extremely talented individuals already working in Barcelona and attracting those looking to move to the city.

Openbravo will kick-start activities in Barcelona by hosting a community event, the Openbravo ‘Get Together’, in the city from October 26th to 28th. The event will be a chance for partners, community members and users of Openbravo to meet in person and enjoy a weekend of activities, seminars and networking. Several training sessions will also be available before and after the event. A four-day ‘Basic Functional’ training course is offered by way of introduction to Openbravo from Monday, October 22nd to Thursday, October 25th. For users interested in delving deeper into Openbravo, a five-day ‘Customising & Basic Development’ course is available from October 29th to November 2nd. For advanced developers, a five-day ‘Advanced Development’ course is offered from October 5th to November 9th.
