Cambridge, UK, 5 February 2008: cintelliq ltd, the world’s leading provider of information services and technology consulting to the organic semiconductor and organic electronics industries, has announced its sixth annual conference, OSC-08 (Organic Semiconductor Conference), which will take place at the Frankfurt Messe, Frankfurt, Germany from 29 September to 1 October 2008.

The aim of the conference is to encourage participation from scientists, engineers, manufacturers, business leaders and investors in the organic semiconductor and organic electronics industries. Conference presentations will cover a broad range of topics, not only organic semiconductor technologies, but also organic electronics, printed electronics, flexible electronics, etc. Applications to be discussed will include OLEDs, photovoltaics, RFID, memory, sensors, integrated circuits, smart packaging, smart bandages etc.

Up to 100 industry experts will be reporting progress and latest results in an exciting new mix of commercial and research sessions. A call for research papers will be issued shortly.

Craig Cruickshank, cintelliq CEO, said, "OSC-08 is the ideal opportunity for anyone with an interest in the industry, from researchers to manufacturers to investors, to meet and exchange ideas in a stimulating and productive environment. Delegates at previous conferences regularly comment on how successful the event has been for information gathering and networking."

The previous conference in the series, OEC-07 (hosted in partnership with the OE-A), attracted just over 400 participants from 245 organisations, and cintelliq expects OSC-08 to be significantly larger. In 2007 the exhibition sold out three months before the event. To avoid disappointing potential exhibitors this year, cintelliq has reserved a much larger and more attractive exhibition space at the Frankfurt Messe where over 50 exhibitors can be accommodated in comfort. The new range of exhibitor packages for OSC-08 means that there is an exhibition option available for every budget.

Craig Cruickshank added, "At OEC-07 we were very pleased with the sharp increase (30%) in attendance over the previous year, particularly from the Far East. We will be working hard to further increase the participation from key development and manufacturing centres at OSC-08."

Notes to editors

1. OSC-08 is the premier international event for scientists, engineers, manufacturers and investors in organic semiconductor technologies and organic electronics.

The OSC conference is hosted by cintelliq which founded the conference series in 2003. cintelliq renamed the event OEC (Organic Electronics Conference) in 2006 and 2007 to reflect its conference partnership with the OE-A. With the ending of this partnership cintelliq continues to hold an annual conference under the OSC brand.
