The TAG Learning Group’s range of educational products has now been significantly expanded to include a range of popular science and D&T products following the acquisition of Economatics Education. Economatics Education will continue to be based in Sheffield and the eagerly awaited 2008 catalogue is due out next month.

Following the purchase of Economatics, Andrew Foyle, CEO of the TAG Learning Group had to say;

“We are extremely excited by the addition of Economatics to TAG’s portfolio of educational products.
We identified a weakness in our Science and D&T offering and the Economatic’s product range was ideal to plug this gap, as well as meeting our rigorous criteria for:

1. proven educational benefits,
2. innovation in design and,
3. popularity amongst teachers and pupils.

This comes hot on the heels from the recent addition of Spark Island products to the TAG Learning Group. I am excited by this acquisition, as this is a further step towards showing our commitment to addressing the needs of teachers across a range of products and curriculum areas.

Our customers now have the opportunity of sourcing an increased range of first-class products and solutions from a single major supplier - making purchasing that much easier.”

Economatics Education now joins other key product brands within the TAG Learning Group including MAPS Managed Assessment,The Big Bus and Spark Island.
