Patersons, a global printing and information distribution company, has chosen an integrated financial management, human resource (HR) and payroll software system from COA Solutions (formerly CedarOpenAccounts)

UK headquartered Patersons required a customisable and solid system that could support its existing and future growth plans through acquisition. The company also needed an integrated reporting, financial management and HR system to effectively support its global operations. Improved reporting and process efficiency as well as easy access to consolidated financial and HR data across its UK and USA offices were some of the key drivers for the new system.

Following a competitive tender, Patersons chose an integrated solution from COA Solutions comprising an OpenAccounts accounting system and OpenPeople HR and payroll system. Patersons selected these systems due to their flexibility, strength in reporting and HR as well as their ability to closely align with the company’s existing business systems. This integrated software solution, which will replace Patersons’ current disparate systems, will dramatically reduce manual data entry and improve efficiencies in management reporting allowing managers worldwide to directly access real time information via the desktop.
