- Ministry of Sound TV expands Internet video distribution into social networks with viral widgets for MySpace and Bebo -

LONDON, UK, April 10th, 2008 – Brightcove, the leading Internet TV platform, and Ministry of Sound (MoS), Europe’s largest independent record label and dance music entertainment brand, today announced a partnership enabling the media company to use Brightcove to program and distribute advertising-supported video through its Ministry of Sound TV (MoSTV) video portal. MoS has also launched a new widget application, using the Brightcove player, where music fans can add MoSTV videos to profile pages on MySpace and Bebo, further expanding the distribution channels for MoS.

MoSTV features over 1,000 exclusive music video releases, mini-documentaries, interviews with headlining DJs, and V.I.P. access to club and festival coverage, including Ibiza and the Miami Winter Music Conference. The popular video portal generates over 600,000 video streams per month.

The Brightcove Internet TV platform is used by premium commercial media companies to expand content distribution beyond their own websites, while at the same time retaining control of their advertising inventory.
