There’s nothing quite like Snug Denture Cushions for many of the UK’s estimated 11 million denture wearers – as The Mentholatum Company discovered when the product disappeared from some local Boots stores.

Disappointed Snug users bombarded Mentholatum with phone calls, letters and emails demanding to know why they were having trouble getting hold of their favourite denture cushions.

Snug brand manager Jill Ritchie said: “Snug has always had a loyal following, but we were astonished at the response from customers when a number of Boots stores decided to stop stocking it. Customers told us they had not found anything else as convenient, easy to use and effective at keeping their dentures in place.

“Long-term Snug users, often in their 70s and 80s used words like desperate and distressed at being unable to buy Snug. They told us that without it they could not eat or speak properly and they complained that other brands had a strange taste or failed to provide the cushioned comfort they were used to.

“When we showed some of the letters and emails to former stockists, they realised that normal service should be restored and Snug is now back on the shelves of Boots stores nationwide. This really is a victory for people power!”

Snug Denture Cushions are tasteless, odourless and easy to use, restoring a firm fit to upper and lower plates. The soft plastic liners do not need to be removed for cleaning and give up to three weeks of cushioned comfort.

Snug Denture Cushions retail at £4.09 for 2 cushions.
