Adler and Allan, one of the UK’s leading oil and environmental services groups is delighted to announce the acquisition of Fuel Installation Services Limited.

Fuel Installation Services is based in St Albans and will merge with the Adler and Allan Tank Services Division to increase fuel installation, industrial and commercial tank supply and tank maintenance services. Colin Mitchell will take managerial charge of the new operation having formerly headed up the company.

Mark Calvert, Managing Director at Adler and Allan, firmly believes the takeover will further enhance the company’s strength across the UK.

Mark said:

“Adler and Allan has a very clear strategic vision for the future of the business and this latest move is a key element of that plan. Fuel Installation Services significantly broadens our geographic coverage and adds to the wide range of specialist expertise that we provide in the sector.”

Established in 1989, Fuel Installation Services specialises in highly skilled servicing, design and installation of equipment and systems to store and dispense fuels and lubricants and has a superb record for achieving customer goals.

With the major changes resulting from the Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations 2001, the company is recognised as one of the most experienced in the storage and management of petroleum based products.

Mark added:

“This highly significant business development consolidates our reputation in the tank and pump industry. This merger will significantly increase our capability to run UK wide tank maintenance contracts and to manage turnkey projects such as tank replacements and drainage installations. It is a tremendous opportunity for us in this market and we’re very excited about the acquisition.”
