Paramount Pictures’ Titles to be Pre-loaded on the ARCHOS TV+ for Immediate Viewing without Download and Available through the ARCHOS Media Club from the Portable Device or Online

LONDON - April 23, 2008 – ARCHOS announced today a global relationship with Paramount Digital Entertainment that brings hundreds of Paramount Pictures’ titles to ARCHOS Media Club, allowing consumers to watch favourite films such as “Into the Wild” and “Stardust” on the go or in their own living rooms. Paramount Pictures’ titles are available in the ARCHOS Media Club in France and the UK today, with content coming to Germany, Italy, Spain and North America Media Clubs this spring.

The Media Club is part of the ARCHOS CONTENT PORTAL which offers thousands of movies and TV shows for ARCHOS devices, which can be downloaded wirelessly to the devices. The Media Club is also available from the ARCHOS website so movies will be download first to a PC and transferred to portable players, to allow ARCHOS users to easily get content on their non-Wifi devices.

Through the relationship, many Paramount Pictures’ titles will be preloaded onto the ARCHOS TV+ for purchase and immediate one-click viewing — without the need for downloading.

“ARCHOS is building an extensive global content store and our agreement with Paramount is a great step in giving our customers the latest entertainment content wherever they go,” said Henri Crohas, ARCHOS founder and CEO. “Accessing favourite movies, TV shows, or games is an important element in the anywhere entertainment lifestyle consumers have adopted. ARCHOS remains the only company providing a way to download this content wirelessly to a portable player, and is providing the easiest access to content through our combined store and award-winning wireless devices.”

“ARCHOS is creating advanced solutions including smart pre-loading features that support our strategy to develop alternative digital distribution channels,” states Thomas Lesinski, President, Paramount Digital Entertainment. “ARCHOS has the technical strength, retail credibility and robust consumer ecosystem to deliver our content in the most flexible way digital consumers want it.”

ARCHOS introduced the hard-drive-based MP3 player with the Jukebox 6000 in 2000, and since that time has revolutionized consumer electronics devices. The company invented the portable video player in 2003 and was the first to bring TV recording, wireless and touch screens to the portable media player. ARCHOS' award-winning products let consumers enjoy movies, photos, video, music and television anytime, anywhere. Established in 1988, ARCHOS has offices in the United States, Europe and Asia, and is quoted on Compartment B of Euronext Paris, ISIN Code FR0000182479. More information is available online at
