As one of the country’s biggest rural events, this year's Royal Bath and West Show (28th - 31st May) offers more than ever before.

With more than 150,000 people expected to attend over the course of the four day event, highlights include pedigree livestock competitions, food halls, canoeing, a floral marquee, a miniature railway, a 4x4 course, an EcoZone, bands, rural crafts, steam engines and classic cars, a fashion show and even a visit from the David Beckham Football Academy. The perfect way to keep children entertained during the half term holiday!

Those with a passion for animals and the countryside will relish the heavy horses, show jumping, dog show, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, alpacas and poultry as well as the displays of rural crafts including wood turning, falconry, thatching and sheep shearing.

The Show will also feature an innovative 'EcoZone' showcasing the very latest technology for improving your carbon footprint (including wind, solar, biomass, biofuel, construction and green consumables) providing a valuable resource for anyone who is looking to renovate or improve their home with eco-friendly principles in mind. And visitors can even use their own pedal power to make their own smoothie on a blender vendor bike!

Guest stars at the Show will include fashion icon Jeff Banks; BBC TV ‘Homes Under the Hammer’ star Martin Roberts, who will be signing copies of his new book on all four days; Star Wars’ Chewbacca, alias Peter Mayhew; Clarissa Dickson Wright and Johnny Ball, with the NFU Roadshow.
