15 May 2008 – The Sift Media Software Satisfaction Awards is calling for entries for its 2008 awards programme.

The Sift Media Software Satisfaction Awards (SSA) were established in 2006 to reward high standards from software application providers serving UK businesses. This year’s competition invites vendors of software covering categories across a variety of business disciplines including: accounting & finance; human resources; training; CRM; and customer management.

The awards are set apart from other schemes in that they are voted for by the purchasers and end-users of business software - not a judging panel – offering a third party view of how products are perceived alongside their competition.

Claire Flawn, Marketing Manager at Armstrong Consultants, runners up in the ‘Reseller of the year’ category in 2007 comments, “Being shortlisted for the Software Satisfaction Awards has been a very positive experience for Armstrong; our profile was raised through the marketing associated with the programme and we even sold software as a result of a sales lead through the awards website. The deadline for Awards entries is Friday 23 May 2008 and the user survey will open in late May.
