Amersham, UK – 19 May, 2008 – Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE Arca: CML) today announced the appointment of Adam Dagnall as storage architect. Dagnall will be responsible for the design, delivery, implementation and hands-on support of Compellent’s award-winning storage area network (SAN) solution exclusively sold through the company’s European channel partners.

Dagnall was previously a storage engineer and backup specialist with Incentra Solutions, a global provider of IT and storage management solutions to enterprises and managed service providers. Before Incentra, Dagnall spent six years as a professional services engineer with CMS Peripherals delivering high-end storage platforms to mid-sized and large enterprises.

Commenting on this appointment Andy Hardy, managing director of international sales for Compellent, said: “Adam brings deep, first-hand experience of designing and deploying high-availability enterprise storage solutions. In addition to his technical expertise he will play a key role educating the company’s European partners on the total cost of ownership and environmental advantages of Compellent’s highly-efficient SAN.”

Dagnall holds eight technical certifications and accreditations from vendors including Microsoft, BakBone, CA, Pillar Data, Tandberg, Symantec and Veritas. He is based at Compellent’s European headquarters in Amersham, Bucks.
