3 June 2008 - Management Events (www.managementevents.com) has been named the 12th Best Workplace in Europe in the Great Place to Work® study, in the category for small and medium sized companies. Competing against 1,249 other companies, the ranking makes Management Events the Best Workplace in Europe in the events industry. The company was also a top-three finalist for an Excellence Award in the Camaraderie category. The award ceremony took place in London on Tuesday 27 May 2008.
Management Events has taken part in the study for the last three years and has improved its ranking each time. Accreditation from the Great Place to Work® Institute Europe is one of the company’s strategic HR goals.

The 100 Best Workplaces in Europe list is divided into two categories with 50 companies recognised in each: small and medium sized companies (fewer than 500 employees) and large companies employing more than 500 people. The 100 Best workplaces list is based on the studies in 15 European countries. This year 1,250 companies operating in Europe took part in the study.
