Web 2.0 functionality and sophisticated e-Commerce processes have enabled the T-shirt and tennis manufacturer to deliver an enhanced online shopping experience for its customers. Implemented by hybris partner, texcelerate solutions (www.texcelerate.com), the highly customer-focused website features detailed product descriptions, simplified navigation, tailored newsletters as well as personalised mail shots and e-vouchers.
Customers are able to access comprehensive descriptions about all collections, specials and articles, complete with all product information (article numbers, size and material details, available colours, delivery times, prices, etc.) from the hybris central product database. Online product presentation is improved with image zooming and the ability to design individual T-shirts, polo shirts and sweat shirts creates a dynamic shopping experience. Customers are also able to place selected articles on a ‘wish list’, forward it by e-mail to friends, or put the entire list straight into their basket.
The simple navigation of men’s, ladies’ and children’s clothing, sports items and specials is further enhanced by the full-text search facility which enables customers to search for items by product name or article number. The use of Rich Media applications and interactive product advisors also enables visitors to call up a red sweatshirt, for example, and then follow the automatic links to matching hipsters and casual trousers to create the perfect outfit.
