27th June 2008: Steljes Limited, the technology pioneer, has expanded the role of Ian Goodhind, Chief Operations Officer, to include leadership of Sales and Business Development.

Ian, who has been with the company for over ten years, has worked across all parts of the business including time as Finance Director and Product Marketing Director. He takes over from Mark Bird, who is leaving the company at the end of July to take up a new position with a soon-to-be-announced start-up.

Having recently celebrated 21 years in business, Steljes continues to lead the market for interactive technologies. In 2008, Steljes has successfully worked with channel partners to increase UK market share for SMART Board™ interactive whiteboards to almost 60% and build a leading presence in interactive response systems through sales of TurningPoint™ and SMART Senteo™. With new products in the pipeline for both Education and Corporate markets, the company is well positioned for continued growth in the years ahead.

Commenting on the change, Martin Large Group Chief Executive said “Mark has done an excellent job of developing our channel relationships during a period of considerable change for our business and the wider market. I hope that the AV community will join me in wishing Mark every success in his new venture. Now that Steljes Limited is again one company, Ian takes on leadership of a talented team with a great range of products for our channel partners to work with.”
