The latest innovation from ELSA is about to provide a revolution in
Internet display. The newly developed ELSA software, i3Di, soon to be
shipped with the already successful 3D REVELATOR glasses, opens up a
truly three-dimensional perception of the Internet to a wide circle of

ELSA engineers have succeeded in visualising three dimensional web
content in a way which results in true spatial perception. For the first
time, ELSA's i3Di software allows the technical community to experience
the global Internet in an additional dimension and at consumer prices.

The advanced technology of the ELSA 3D REVELATOR glasses, which have
already been acclaimed by the gaming community, provide the viewer with
an image that appears to be truly three-dimensional.

Theo Beisch, President and CEO of ELSA AG, intends to revolutionise the
Internet as well and sees this latest technology providing great
opportunities for all those publishing, or intending to publish, 3D
content on the Internet: "The Internet offers fantastic opportunities,
but until now was limited to two dimensional presentation. E-commerce,
online banking and online research will soon be extended by a decisive
and sensational dimension. Users will be immersed in a virtual
environment, e.g. a shopping centre or other virtual worlds, and will,
just as in real life, be able to find their way in a 3D world in an
intuitive and familiar manner.

First contacts with network providers, and companies involved in retail,
tourism, banking and the entertainment industry made clear that there is
enormous interest in the presentation of specialised services for i3Di."

According to a study by the International Data Corp. (IDC), there will
be worldwide one billion people online by the year 2005. By 2003
already, the volume of Internet-based sales will increase from the 5.6
billion Dollars of 1998 to the massive sum of 430 billion Dollars. GFK,
the leading German consumer research organisation, forecasts the number
of Germans surfing online to exceed 10 million users this year. One year
later, that number is predicted to reach 17 million. "The Internet in
western Europe will be transformed from a technical phenomenon to a tool
for the entire population," explained an IDC analyst.

With this new development, ELSA rounds off its range of products for the
rapidly growing market of ambitious Internet users.
