Colin Gray, Sales Dir. ChangeBASE AOK

ChangeBASE AOK, the world leader in automated application compatibility software has appointed Colin Gray as Director of Sales to drive global sales of its AOK software suite. His key responsibility will be to deliver explosive sales growth of their revolutionary software solution, building on the success of ChangeBASE AOK’s already impressive Fortune 500 client base.

ChangeBASE AOK uniquely enables enterprises to assess the impact of changes to their software applications, and hence make informed decisions with confidence as they evolve their infrastructure and operating environments. This is of particular significance as companies look to roll out Microsoft Vista, virtualisation projects and ongoing application estate upgrades and changes.

“ChangeBASE AOK is extremely appealing to me as an opportunity, I believe AOK has the potential to become the de facto standard for application compatibility testing and remediation. It dramatically improves the speed, consistency and accuracy, whilst enabling release management best practice and optimized QA, in a process that is traditionally manual, slow, and inherently problematic. Process automation in application compatibility, and the benefits it brings, is something that every enterprise absolutely needs,” Gray commented . “Additionally, every service provider offering services around application packaging, release management and deployment, should aspire to delivering the AOK promise. AOK software offers them both service differentiation and improved margin opportunities through process improvements and accelerated turnaround. A great combination, and an exciting opportunity for me to lead our sales push.”

Colin Gray was previously Vice President, EMEA for BigFix Inc, responsible for European operations which included sales, marketing, technical services and finance. He has also acted as a consultant to numerous technology start-ups looking to establish their European business or accelerate sales across EMEA.

Prior to joining BigFix, Gray held various executive level and sales management positions with a number of early stage companies, including VP EMEA for CipherTrust (bought by Secure Computing), VP EMEA for PentaSafe Security Technologies (bought by NetIQ) and VP EMEA for NetScreen Technologies with whom he contributed to their spectacular growth and subsequent floatation and sale to Juniper Networks.

In addition Gray earned his sales and management stripes working with some of the largest names in technology including Network Associates International (now McAfee) , Toshiba and Thorn EMI.

“Colin is a high-energy professional with exemplary closing skills, and has a track record of consistent over achievement of objectives,” said John Tate, managing director, ChangeBASE AOK. “His experience with global accounts and partner channels will ensure the penetration of ChangeBASE AOK software to organisations who are taking advantage of new technologies to stay ahead of their competitors. We are very pleased to have him on board.”

Gray will be based out of ChangeBASE AOK’s London head office, and will focus on growing sales through their partners into the Fortune top 1,000 enterprise customers globally.
