Glorious Goodwood offers 5 days of great Horse Racing action with the highlights being the Sussex Stakes and the Nassau Stakes. There are another 33 races for Horse Racing punters to work through the form book with many excellent betting opportunities over the week.

Putting up some Glorious Goodwood Tips would be a synch if we were to put up the likes of Henrythenavigator to win the Sussex Stakes Betting at 4/7 but there would be no credits to be taken from such a policy. Having reviewed all the main handicaps we have come up with one that we like very much in Colony trained by Sir Michael Stoute in the Sir Peter O’Sullivan Racing Stakes on Wednesday and we expect a good show following his excellent performance in the King George V Stakes at the Royal Meeting at Ascot in what was one of the strongest three-year-old handicaps of the season. It looks like there is more to come from him, it is just hoped that the ground is not too quick for him and he takes his place in the line up.

The Goodwood track itself can catch out many novice punters who are unfamiliar with some of the track nuances as on the round course it is important to have a high stall draw and run up with the pace on good to fast going. You also need to have a jockey who rides the track very well and three jockeys excelled at the Glorious Goodwood festival last year in Jamie Spencer, Ryan Moore and Johnny Murtagh and they may well do so again this week.

Another Goodwood tip is to check out the Paddy Power money back specials as they always offer some top class money back promotions for these big racing festivals and all the online bookmakers will also be offering Horse Racing Free Bets for this week’s festivals at Glorious Goodwood and the Galway Festival in Ireland.
