A leading independent recruitment agency scoring website celebrates its 1st birthday this month; demonstrating record levels of professional help and advice for job seekers, recruitment agencies and employers and providing them with a platform to work and grow together.
HireScores.com celebrates its first year of the full site being in business this week, and is pleased to announce the ground-breaking success of what is still a unique and independent recruitment agency scoring website; formed in 2007 by a leading global human resources director.
So far, over 2,400 job seekers have logged on and scored their experience of using a recruitment agency. The average score for the year has now reached 8 out of 10.
Feedback from those involved has been very positive, with the site now attracting an ever-increasing 12,000 visitors each month. To date, there are over 150 registered suppliers of products and services, providing interview tips, likely interview questions and childcare advice for those who want to work but have family commitments. There are also over 7,500 candidates, over 780 UK recruitment agencies, 330 job boards and 150 employers, all registered with HireScores.
Professional Contractors Group (PCG), which represents freelance workers in IT, financial services and the North Sea oil and gas industry, also signed up to HireScores in their first year of business, making the site and all it has to offer available to PCG’s 17,000 members.

The stress of job hunting can be a gruelling task for all involved and consequently the aim of HireScores is to provide recruitment diagnostics, employment advice, recruitment and candidate news and a knowledge centre.
Candidates can control their online profiles; controlling who gets to see what and recruiters can subscribe to receiving reports. Most uniquely, HireScores provide a comprehensive feedback and report service to recruiters; providing agencies with valuable suggestions or commendations and offering employers 360 degree feedback.
Response from recruitment agencies has also been optimistic, with recruiters stating that HireScores enhances and encourages their work ethic. A spokesperson from Parkhouse Bell Recruitment, said;
“Getting the right information is crucial to our commitment to a personal, honest and professional approach when working with our clients and candidates. HireScores provides that information and we invite all our clients to get involved.”
Lisette Howlett, the founder of HireScores, has over 20 years experience in global Human Resources leadership, with firms such as Zeneca/AstraZeneca and Syngenta. Howlett’s enthusiasm and dedication to this cause has grown over the last 2 years and results and feedback speaks for itself.
“The response to HireScores has been phenomenal, with very rewarding results for our first year. The most popular aspect of this site is that the whole process, whether it be giving or receiving advice, doesn’t end once the candidate has found a job; in fact for many, it is at precisely this point that the true beauty of HireScores kicks in.”
“We hope that HireScores continues to grow; providing employers, candidates and Recruiters with previously unobtainable and invaluable advice.”
