Wellesbourne, 21 AUGUST 2008… Bynx (www.bynx.com), the software supplier to the global automotive sector, has made three key appointments at its UK headquarters in Warwickshire. David Smith and Derren Groves have been appointed as business analysts while Ron Flegg has been promoted to BynxFleet product manager.
David Smith will be responsible for liaising with prospective customers to assess their specific requirements and ensure that Bynx has a solution which can address these. Smith is a qualified accountant with over 20 years experience as a leasing customer, including seven years at Lombard Vehicle Management managing the Financial Accounts team and a further seven years as a financial business analyst. Smith has a clear understanding of the challenges and pressures customers face and can use his experience of being a customer for defining and developing solutions for others.
Derren Groves brings with him over 11 years business analyst experience and a blend of core skills and relevant in-depth knowledge of the vehicle leasing sector. Prior to joining Bynx, Groves spent over six years as a business analyst at Lombard Vehicle Management where he defined requirements and designed vehicle leasing solutions in conjunction with third party software providers. He has also worked at large blue-chip organisations including Tarmac and Charles Schwab Europe.
Groves’ focus is on CAPQuote powered by Bynx - a web-based application that plugs directly into existing legacy systems without the need for costly alterations to IT infrastructure. His responsibilities include defining the requirements for the ongoing development of CAPQuote powered by Bynx and liaising with clients during the implementation and support of the product.
Ron Flegg has over 30 years experience in software development, 16 years of which were with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) providers. Prior to joining Bynx in July 2007 as a business analyst, Flegg spent a year working in the IT department of Volkswagen Group UK where he was responsible for dealer systems. In his new role as BynxFleet product manager, Flegg will provide focus and ownership for functional and technical decisions on Bynx products - delivering to both new and existing customers and establishing current customer and market requirements.
