BT Baby Monitor Mk1 winner for Design Business Association and parents alike
Farnham, UK, August 26th 2008 – Leading design consultancy TheAlloy, has secured another DBA Design Effectiveness Award, with strategic partner BT, for the BT Baby Monitor Mk1. This DBA Design Effectiveness Award uniquely recognises the integral role effective design by TheAlloy has played in the creation of business growth for BT in a new product market.

The design of the BT Baby Monitor Mark 1 itself, whilst sleek and stylish, was driven by usability, incorporating practical features that deliver peace of mind for the parent. The product introduced DECT digital technology for a new level of sound quality for improved monitoring and adjustable sensitivity. Other clever design features that have proven to be especially popular with those who purchased the device include parent talk back facility, nightlight, temperature gauges and lullabies.
