Leicestershire-based computer systems and business solutions provider Taylor Made Technology Ltd (TMT), acquired in 2007 by Concentrix, has now been fully integrated within the Concentrix company structure.

Former TMT staff have transferred to Concentrix head offices in Mountsorrel, near Loughborough. The two companies now operate under one name: Concentrix Ltd.

Concentrix is a leading UK business management and CRM software. TMT and Concentrix had been working closely together for almost 1 year, culminating in the acquisition in December 2007. Since then, through sharing their skills and knowledge, the two companies have grown from strength to strength.

Concentrix Ltd now delivers highly complementary products with a powerful synergy, offering a comprehensive range of software applications, hardware, services and support. The integration gives Concentrix a strong local presence which complements their national coverage.

Asked how the integration will affect their customers, Roger Peacock, Concentrix Director of Operations said, “by fully integrating the two companies, we’re delivering significant benefits to our customers, old and new. Local customers, as well as those further afield, now have access to outstanding levels of expertise, from programming and technical skills to training and project management, all under one roof. What’s more, we can offer total solutions to meet the precise needs of their businesses – a full range of business software, the hardware and networks to run it, plus support, maintenance, and everything else in-between.”

Concentrix has grown steadily over the past few years, and the integration forms part of a long-term expansion strategy for the business. Commenting on the growth, Ian Dawkins, Concentrix Managing Director commented, “Concentrix has steadily expanded because we supply products and services which deliver genuine benefits to businesses and we combine these with a highly professional approach and a close working relationship with our customers. It also helps that we’re product agnostic, so people trust us to provide the most suitable solution for their business needs.”

Despite warnings of an economic downturn, the company is seeing an increase in interest in their products and services. Dawkins continues, “because they improve efficiency and competitiveness, solutions such as those offered by Concentrix become even more important to businesses when the economy slows down. We’ve actually seen a greater number of enquiries for many of our products, especially the latest CRM and integrated business management solutions.”

Concentrix has been operating from its current location in Granite Way, Mountsorrel, since May 2006. Until recently they shared the building with two tenant companies. The purpose-built business premises are now solely occupied by Concentrix Ltd, leaving room for future expansion.

TMT staff have moved from their former premises at The Progress Works, Glenfield, Leicestershire. The move brings the total number of Concentrix employees to 47.
