MythosTech Offers SeeWhy’s Real-Time Event Intelligence Platform to Businesses in Italy

WINDSOR, U.K.—September 22, 2008—SeeWhy Software, the leader in real-time behavioural analytics, today announced that MythosTech S.r.l., a business intelligence specialist with customers in the telecommunications and banking sectors, has become the SeeWhy distributor for Italy, and will offer SeeWhy products in Italy to help customers in online environments. MythosTech is the company’s first partner based in Italy and is responsible for the distribution and marketing of SeeWhy in Italy.

MythosTech, based in Rome, works with many of the largest public and private companies in Italy to deliver technology solutions aimed at reducing online business risks and vulnerabilities in real-time.

SeeWhy Enterprise Edition is an event intelligence platform that continuously analyses data in real time. Customers use SeeWhy to identify opportunities and risks and to initiate automatic corrective actions appropriate to the individual customer circumstances. Major applications in use by SeeWhy customers include customer on-boarding, event based marketing, customer experience management, online advertising optimisation and fraud detection.

SeeWhy’s in-memory behavioural analytics continuously profile millions of individual customers and identify significant individual changes in behaviour that are indicators of sales opportunities or fraudulent activity. Embedding these capabilities into processes has proven to deliver up to a ten fold increase in performance for SeeWhy customers.

“Having spent more than 15 years in the field of business intelligence and data warehousing, we are finely tuned into our customers’ business needs,” said Roberto Marzocca, CEO of MythosTech. “We strongly believe that embedding real-time intelligence into business processes will not only enable our customers to monitor and react to every online transaction immediately but also alert them to initiate automated corrective actions.”

Charles Nicholls, CEO of SeeWhy Software said: “SeeWhy fundamentally changes the rules on how data can be analysed. When applied to traditionally analytic complex tasks such as real-time fraud management and online analytics, SeeWhy can change the economics of these processes. We are delighted to partner with MythosTech to provide these capabilities to the Italian market, which is recognised as an early adopter of new business intelligence technologies.”
