London, 3 October 2008: Blogs and Managing Online Reputation is the new half-day training course announced by the PR Training Centre, following the success of its Online PR training courses. The workshop is designed for marketing and PR people who are called on to create or manage a corporate blog, or to engage with bloggers to protect their brand and corporate image in the blogosphere.
The workshop covers how to identify influential bloggers, engaging successfully with the blogosphere, understanding the corporate uses of blogging, appreciating the effects of blogging on your reputation, and strategies for managing the reputation of your company and your brands on the internet. The course also examines the impact of social networks and looks at the opportunities they present for PR.
The course has two presenters, rather than one, both experienced professionals. Richard Milton is a journalist, writer and broadcaster who is the author of six books and numerous high-ranking web sites. Jacqui Green is head of a marketing and PR agency who is in regular contact with the media and has decades of experience in engaging the interest of journalists, editors and bloggers.
