The 2008 Breeders Cup is the end of season horse racing extravaganza held at the end of the flat racing season in the United States. The aim is to bring all the top race horses together at one time and hold what would to be a world horse racing championship. The meeting is now held over two days and hosts fourteen different categories of racing, on either turf or dirt, over distances between 6 furlongs and 1½ miles for both male and female horses. The real incentive for owners and trainers however is the huge amount of prize money on offer in each race.

The event has been running since 1984 and has grown enormously in both quality and popularity especially Breeders Cup Betting as these days horses from all over the world are entered and there is a global audience which all watch the racing live on TV. Because of the range of categories and the differing countries the horses come from it is often very hard to select what could win any of the races and Breeders Cup Tips are difficult to work out but one tipster that we suggest you check out is Tom Lee the Channel 4 racing presenter who has been going great guns on the betting portal called Betting Directory Horse Racing Tips.

Tipping successfully is not impossible, it is merely a question of following the event and following the entrants for each race. There is plenty of information available online and in the media which when combined with our racing knowledge can often produce a horse that is in the right race at the right time. One such horse runs in the opening race at the Breeders Cup. Ventura has odds of around the 5/1 mark and we know she has been specifically targeted for this race and is a speed freak on the surface. She is highly thought of by both her connections and the American punting fraternity, so much so that her odds of come rapidly from 14/1.

Should you wish to take any of the advice on these Breeders Cup Races you can avail of the Ladbrokes Free Bets especially for the Breeders Cup two day festival at Santa Anita.
